What's CentStorage?

CentStorage is the Centreon 2 name for the formerly known Oreon Data Storage (ODS) Module. It was developed for storing data in Databases. The main goal of CentStorage is to permit a Centreon user to easily manipulate logs and data returned by nagios checks.

First CentStorage permits to store numerical data in a database (SQL or/and RRDtool) for generating graphs quickly. Graphs are appreciated for all people who have to generate mensual or annual reports.

As another enhancement CentStorage permits to store logs in a database for faster processing and reporting. It also permits to make filters, search by keywords and to select various periods.
